According to the official, the vegetables exported included lettuce, carrot, dill and parsley, IRNA reported.
“These crops are cultivated every year in more than 5,000 hectares of farms in Andimeshk,” he said, adding that over 4,000 people are directly and indirectly working in the field of vegetable production. Andimeshk annually produces 600,000 tons of crops, including wheat, rapeseed and field corn, according to Financial Tribune.
